What could be tastier than freshly baked homemade bread? Making a crispy baguette at home is not difficult. If you use one interesting life hack. Simply dip your bread in water for just 30 seconds before baking. You can achieve amazing results. This bread is simply irresistible!

For cooking you will need:

  • Warm Milk 400 ml
  • Salt 1 tsp 
  • Sugar 2 tsp 
  • Dry Yeast 8 grams
  • Olive Oil 40 ml
  • Wheat Flour 600 grams
  • Olive Oil for greasing the bowl

Add salt, sugar, dry yeast, and olive oil to warm milk and mix well. Add flour and knead a dense, elastic dough that does not stick to your hands.

Place the dough in a bowl greased with olive oil, cover with cling film and leave for 1 hour in a warm place. During this time, the dough will double in size.

Divide the dough into 10 equal parts. Form each part into a ball, cover with a towel and leave on the table for 10 minutes.

Form each ball into a mini-baguette. Leave the blanks on the table under the towel for another 20 minutes.

Drop each baguette into a pot of boiling water for 30-40 seconds.

With a sharp knife, make cuts on the baguette, then grease each with milk.

Bake bread in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes.

The hardest part about this recipe is not to eat all the hot baguettes yourself!
